The Bells was commissioned by the Town of Barneveld on the occassion of the inauguration of the bells B-blat and E-flat of the carillon of the Sint Odulphuskerk, Barneveld. - The composition is written for and dedicated to Henry Groen, who first performed it on 23 June 1992. - The composition is based on the melody of Psalm 8 of the Genevan Psalter. - Duration: ca. 8’
