Amersfoort
The carillons of the Tower of Our Lady are played four times a week by students and teachers of the Netherlands Carillon School. Once a month, there is a group lesson in the tower.
Besides this, there are special occasions, such as the Jazz Days in May, in which the carillon plays a part. In the summer, there are concerts from the Tower of Our Lady by guest-carillonneurs from home and abroad, and at the Belgian Monument by students of the Carillon School.
Some of the concerts given by students are judged and count as internships. Twice a year, the drum of the automatic hour-chimes is re-pinned with new tunes by students, under supervision of a teacher.
