They are responsible for playing most of the 182 carillons in The Netherlands and fill posts in many other parts of the world.

The Netherlands Carillon School is the only conservatoire carillon study in The Netherlands. The complete programme for Bachelor of Music takes four years, after which there is a two-year course for Master of Music.

The school has a wide network within the country, as well as abroad, so there are many opportunities for the students for internships, performances and concerts. The school curriculum is intensive and complete.

Amersfoort is the only place in the world where carillon studies can be followed to the highest level – Master of Music. The quality of the teaching is guaranteed by the fact that the school is part of the Utrecht School of the Arts.

Moreover, being part of a large and very versatile institute makes it easy for students to work on special subjects or participate in projects in diverse areas.

Since 1987, the Netherlands Carillon School is part of the Utrecht School of the Arts.
